Thank god I have good dental insurance. I am hoping to walk out with just my copay to deal with.

Never had a cavity in my life FTW!!

I do, however, have bonding (veneers) on my front two teeth due to a bicycle accident when I was 10 years old wherein I landed directly on my FACE and broke both of them. Over the years, the bonding started to chip and crack, until it had gotten so bad that I was getting a huge gap in between my teeth. I was never able to pay for such expensive work, so I just left it. Even at the local dental school, it would have cost me $700. Then, when I recently found myself in Ho Chi Minh City on a vacation, I passed by a dental clinic. I figured I'd take a look around in there and see if they could fix my teeth for any cheaper. It turns out, I only had to pay $50 to get my teeth fixed! I win!

When I had my wisdom teeth out, my bottom teeth were perpendicular to my molars. So the dentist had to hammer them into little bits and pluck them out.

He hooked me up with codeine and I never felt so good in my life. My sinuses never felt as clear before. And my co-workers at the time said they'd never seen me so aimlessly happy. Every time I popped a pill I was cruising on cloud 9.

After a couple of weeks, I took less of the meds. Had to deal with a bit of pain, but I was afraid of getting hooked. I didn't, of course. :wink:

I have a few fillings; never had a root canal though. Guess I'm lucky although I never had wisdom teeth either and still have two baby teeth in the front that the dentist in the Navy said a few years ago could cause me problems later on in life.

It just occurred to me that there is a lot of pain localized in the facial area recently. One guy had a hellish shave, MoneyMelon's eyes are exploding, and now Nieto has a numb face and problems with his teeth. It's almost becoming an epidemic around here.
