The art in those two issues are amazing! Has a Thor meets Conan vibe to it...good stuff!

I thought they were one shots, but after a quick search I see differently!

They're actually part of a 3-part mini series being written by Fraction called:

1) AGES OF THUNDER
2) REIGN OF BLOOD
3) ?

Cool. I'll keep an eye out, thanks.

The third one is called 'Man of War.'

Technically they are one-shots, it even says so on the cover, but the stories are serial like a mini series, so I'm not sure what's going on with that.

They're also fucking fantastic, though. So, for those of you who haven't read any of them. Pick them up. It's all about the Norse gods and has nothing to do with the current Marvel U. Oh yeah, Thor is in straight up violent dick mode the whole time, so that's always fun.

Patrick Zircher and Khari Evans. There are two stories per issue, although they all continue the same arc.

The art is suitably epic.

No it's with standard colouring/inking, still amazing though, especially the few pages of fighting over the course of the issues.

It focuses on the cyclical relationship of Thor, Odin and Odin's father. Let's us in on where Odin has been since Ragnarok...
