My diet is Criminal , Invincible, The Walking Dead, Wolf Man (about to be canned) Irredeemable, Astro City and maybe a couple more.

I like em.

You won't miss it.

I quit buying over three years ago and don't miss it much at all. Just pick up a few trades here and there for a series I like and if I hear of a good story line, pick up that trade as well. (But even that, it's nice to be able to look over the whole story before I buy and decide if it's really any good)

Benderbrau: Greg hates all things white.

Benderbrau: Emma, you could learn a thing or two from Greg. Greg does threesomes. That's bi done right.

The chapbook format is weak anyway. Doesn't look good on your bookshelf and doesn't save you $2.76 vs the cost of the single issues.

that's what i've been doing.

i only really read Fables, Jack of Fables, Invincible and Northlanders regularly at the moment, Marvel stuff I catch in trade if i hear it was good (Iron Man, Avengers, etc).

They're just to samey.
Took you six years to figure that out? Took me about four. I started reading around the same time as you, maybe a bit earlier (Morrison's X-men, near the end of the run) and I quit Marvel and DC after House of M and Infinite Crisis. I've still managed to check out trades and such (actually, someone gave me Infinite Crisis so I kept it) but yeah, it's pretty much the same shit over and over. I read World War Hulk and Final Crisis for the sake of reading them (World War Hulk sounded like itwould have been cool) but I was disappointed by both. I quit buying single issues all together two years ago. The only current DC series I keep up with is Green Lantern.

Go for Vertigo, that's what I did. All the best comics are Vertigo.
