Exactly! How cowardly was that ending?

Fact.

Please. Sisko was a like a schoolgirl around Kirk he was in such awe. I'm surprised they didn't have him squeal when he gave him the report table to sign.

Kirk laid more chicks, kicked more ass, and conquered more new frontiers than anyone else.

he might have thrown Sisko a few used scraps if he felt pity on him, but that's about it.
What's this? Mr. "Star Trek is for nerds" is offering an opinion, as if he actually enjoys the show?

Go hop on a bandwagon somewhere, the grown-ups are talking.

That's more because Kirk is a heroic figure from Starfleet history, though. If they had been contemporaries, Sisko would not have been in awe, and would probably have kicked his ass.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Voyager should've ended a hundred years in the future with a fleet of ships--led by Voyager and consisting of human, Borg, etc--arriving to Earth calling themselves the New Federation. That could've been a great setup for future Trek stories.

Exactly! It would've been a satisfactory payoff to all the squandered potential of the series.

That's when Worf would've introduced Kirk to the prospect of batliff anal impalement.
