Like I said, I did enjoy the first book, but after having Robert Jordan die on me I don't want to get stuck with another perpetually unfinished series.

But isn't that series continuing even with Jordan's death?

To be honest, I'm enjoying Sanderson's contributions to the story. He's broght some life to the series that was missing in the last few books.

Back on topic, I am very excited about the tv series. It's the only reason I wish I still had HBO.

This is the only fantasy series that's been able to grip enough to attempt to follow it through to it's conclusion. The Hound is probably my favorite character.

I think this is the most fantasy of any series...that fantasy being the next book will ever come out.

So last night before the True Blood finale, HBO put up a trailer and a behind the scenes video up.

Go here to see them:

A Targaryen, I think Viserys, although it could be Rhaegar in flashback

Queens aren't really supposed to dress that sexily out in public I guess. When she's fucking Jaime she'll probably look hotter.

I don't remember her attire being described much before Robert's death, maybe that's it. She definitely shouldn't be looking like a worn out old maid after that though.

I imagine they can do more with lighting, that's obviously a behind the scenes shot (Robert is drinking out of a plastic coffee cup)
