well being verbally aggressive can count as assault in UK law. I also read another report this morning that apparently Bale's mother made some comments about his wife or some such, and that it wasn't any of the three of them that called the police.

But Bale isn't much a press whore when it comes to stuff outside of the movies he's promoting, in fact, thinking about it now, in any of the interviews i've ever read i don't remember him talking about his family at all, so i doubt we'll hear too much more about it. Not from him at least.
