The Outhousers' July Comic Book Power Rankings

Postby LOLtron » Thu Aug 12, 2010 6:57 pm

ImageThanos Imperative #2 was the top comic book of July, as chosen by the Outhousers.  Click to see the full results!

Welcome to the first ever monthly Power Rankings results column. We tabulated the results by having our posters pick their top three comics for the month of July. All ties were broken by the number of votes the title received in the weekly Power Polls.

The top comic book, as chosen by the Outhousers, was Thanos Imperative #2. This was closely followed up by Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour, which beat Zatanna #3 in the monthly poll after losing to the DC monthly in the weekly poll.

Marvel and DC both had four titles in the top ten books of the month. Independent publishers IDW and Oni Press each had a title in the top ten as well.

Full results can be found below.

1 ) Thanos Imperative #2 (Weekly Winner)
2 ) Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour
3 ) Zatanna #3 (Weekly Winner)
4 ) Justice League: Generation Lost #6 (Weekly Winner)
5 ) Secret Avengers #3 (Weekly Winner)
6 ) Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne #4
7 ) Scarlet #1
8 ) Batman and Robin #13 (Weekly Winner)
9 ) Shadowland #1 (Weekly Winner)
10 ) The Man with the Getaway Face
11 ) Prince of Power #3
12 ) Unwritten #15
13 ) Red Robin #14
14 ) X-Force #28

Sorry for some of the tags at the beginning of the LOLtron article.

I thought I had cleared them out before I posted the article. Luckily, they don't show up on the front page...

A good list, and I'm reading all but four of them. I don't get how Zatanna is so high though.

It's a great book: Paul Dini's stuff is almost always gold.

All three of the top vote getters were only seperated by one vote. So it was close.

At least Scott Pilgrim beat Zatanna this time around.
