I was following this in trade till the Great Fables Crossover and stopped.
I just wanted to know if it has been good since then? The next trade is being solicited and was wondering if I should jump back on?

Fables has been good. Never thought the quality has gone down.

The Cross Over really hurt the flow of the story

The crossover was a Jack of Fables story. Numbering it as a Fables trade is a real cash in on their part.

It did in a way. I still thought it was a fun idea just not executed as well as maybe it could have been.

I'm guessing Fables trades sell better than Jack Of Fables, so put it with the money maker.

From the Start to the Cross over was very good, now it is an odd little duck that I like but it is not the same, but you know they are going somewhere with it. Sorry do not want spoil anything .

It's really different, so a lot of Fables fans don't care for it. I like the book, though I started to get sick of the overarching story arc after a while. I was glad the crossover ended that. I haven't picked up the most recent trade, but I hear good things.

good to know and no worries on spoiling. as long as the story is good, it doesn't effect my reading.

i've actually read the first trade and know what you mean with how it's different from Fables.
I enjoyed it alot and was curious how the rest of the series was. good to know!

The issue with the new direction it is taking a very long time to get the end game.

Fables is great and after the Crossover it's got right back into build to Mr Dark and new power structures in the politics of Fabletown. Plus an awesome story about baseball that made me smile from beginning to end was mixed in the middle.
Overall, it's well worth getting the next trades.
And issue #100 should be epic in October.
