Read the book on my holidays. Interesting idea, but really poorly done, and the ending is ridiculously juvenile.
Mark Millar is like a 12 year old in the body of a 45 year old. And that's both a compliment and an insult.

I liked Wanted. It was fun except for the atrocious ending. But then Millar can never end anything well, for example Civil War.

Didn't care for the book or the movie, thought they both sucked.

Why is the ending juvenile? I'm not saying it's genius but it's at least believably in-character, whether you'd like to think Millar is saying it himself or not.

Civil War was crap from start to finish.

Civil War was great...if you define below amateur level fan fiction as "great".
And as for Wanted...read up to the third or fourth issue, after which I feed the whole thing to the paper shredder.

Great concept. Great art. It would have been the perfect miniseries if perhaps Brubaker and Bendis had co-written it.

I've only seen the movie, which I didn't care for, and decided I didn't need to waste my time or money on the book.

It's Millar. The man hasn't really written anything good for a long time.

To the book's credit, there's no loom. I endorse your decision though.
