Helping others is one of my favorite things to do. I prioritize it very highly after assuring my own house is in order. Too bad our gov't doesn't have as much familial common sense.

I have no problem with my tax dollars supplying aid to a foreign country if it's in the wake of a disaster and the money/supplies are getting to the people who need them.

I'm not for spending billions to fund foreign armies, especially in countries that are likely to turn around and use them against us ten years down the line.

I got similar views, except I go as far and say, if they hate us, fuck them.
