The Eagles are great. I love their semi-country music in much the same way I enjoy CCR.

The Guess Who have a few good songs as well, like These Eyes and No Time, but American Woman is really annoying and overplayed.

Yeah, some songs always get over played and can kill any future enjoyment of them.
