You are not alone. I just hope Marvel does not plaster him in other books. In small dose he will be fun. Still I'm waiting for the Punisher vs Hit Monkey One-Shot.

Agreed, its the type that if given too many appearances will get old quickly.

Regarding the current series, I have to say that the addition of the "ghost" of the assassin adds a way for the reader to more easily understand why the Hit-Monkey does the things he does. Its something that they character really needed.
