Interesting. I wouldn't have thought that Kyle or Booster would have been in the top 20, or that J'onn would rank so high...

I'm not too surprised that Martian Manhunter is so high. He's been around for a long time, and he always seems to be on a cover.

i'm MUCH more surprised by Metamorpho than i am those two guys. and i'm not surprised by J'onn at all. any time off he had during the satellite era was more than made up for beginning with JLI.

I knew J'onn would be high on the list, but not as high as he is. Rex doesn't really surprise me either, as he was a member of both JLE and the Gerry Jones (ugh) JLA.

As I recall, Booster didn't actually get that many covers back then... odd, I know.

and as to J'onn, he's one of the big 7 who has been there since the beginning, and he was really the ONLY Big 7 member who was there through the JLI (and extended) days. Bats was a part-timer at best, Hal was AWOL or dead, Barry was dead and Wally didn't join until JLE started (and didn't stick around the whole time), Supes was never a member until after Giffen & JM were gone, WW was there for basaically 3 issues of JLE, and Aquaman was never a member. J'onn made up a LOT of ground during that time (especially if you also count his Bloodwynd covers too).

I like the cover they used for Batman. The rest of the league is running away from the Sun without any aid and there's Batman in a little astronaut suit and with a little bike too.
