I don't know if Sally Floyd was meant to be an idiot, or if the folks writing her intended for her to be profound and just missed the boat. Either way, she spat out some of the dumbest things in comics that didn't include "Insect Queens" or "Reality Punches."

The first game wasn't that great, but at least it was pretty epic and had you fight a lot of various villains, including Galactus. The final fmv was pretty cool too. This one though had a horrible final villain, only like one good movie in the beginning of the game and a distinct lack of cool locations. It really felt like EA phoned this game in in every level. This was also very easy, which is saying something considering how easy the first game was. I will say though that the changes they made to Civil War worked a lot better than Civil War itself.
 Actually, it's much better than the first game and if you beat heroic and then play legendary it is challenging.

How Civil War : Front Line should've ended.

I have to agee with the OP. I bought this game and I was bored to tears. there is only so much fighting all this cannon fodders I could take. I mean, all levels are practically the same. The first one was actually the same, just that it was cool the first time to see this much marvel characters in one game. I actually had more fun with justice league heroes, it was more condense than MUA

Jusice League Heroes was fucked up. If I'm beating Doomsday with Zatanna throwing rabbits and shit at the muthafucka, something's already gone horribly awry.

I honestly couldn't figure out why you could only have two heroes on-screen at any given time. It was literally a step backward from MUA 1 and X-Men legends. They copied almost everything else about MUA and XML, but couldn't figure out how to give you more than two guys at a time on screen.

And the Flash...Maybe there's no way to make Speedsters work without breaking a game, but the Flash was just...sad.

And it was short as hell. For all it's flaws, I'll take the Marvel franchise of games.

I did that cause it was an easy kill, and to my surprise you got an achievment. :)

I played it with a group of friends doing just that and it still took forever.

I have no desire to play it again, I was bored the first time.

At least the first game had you fighting a wide variety of villains and had a lot of different worlds to check out. This game had a helicarrier, latveria, dc, some plant. All of it blurred together nothing really jumped out at you. The first game had arcades world, atlantis (which looked cool at least), some space levels, asgard. A much better variety of levels and the MU.

That was one of the greatest things about the first game. Because Activision wrote their own story they were able to take the player to all of the various areas of the Marvel Universe. Everywhere from under the sea to the out reaches of space and onto the extra dimensional realm of Asgard. Now that's epic. And a huge shout out to fanboys.
