I had planned to do the front page thing today, but got wrapped up in a project at work and tonight I watched the final two episodes of Treme and will probably be depressed for a couple of weeks as a result. Seriously damn powerful stuff.

I'll shoot for Thursday unless I can bail on work early tomorrow.

It's a slow start, and it doesn't have the immediate crime genre hooks as The Wire, but if you give it some time, I think it's really rewarding and rich. It's also surprisingly funny.

The music is of course excellent.
