My Judge Dredd painting, in progress....

Postby Mark Pacich » Thu Sep 30, 2010 12:20 pm

Hello,

Here is a Judge Dredd painting that I am currently working on. I plan on doing Dredd, and the 4 Dark Judges...all of them the same size and format, acryllic on canvas.

I would love to hear your opinions on my artwork.

Thanks,

Mark Pacich

Here is an updated pic of my Dredd painting. I finished the shoulder "pad" and I am almost done with the badge.

Thanks for the feedback. I went to the University of Florida in Gainesville. I graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

(I hope when I am finished I can adjust this camera so I can take a pic that doesn't have a glare and shows the true colors of the painting).

sweet, dude. What size is it?

I graduated from West Chester University in 2004 with a degree in Studio Arts/Art History minor, but before that I went to Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia for Illustration/Graphic Design.

Did you use a model or any type of cloth set-up for the clothes and background?

Is it Oil or Acrylic?

It is 30" x 40"...acryllic on canvas.

I didn't use any models. ( I wish I had someone in a Dredd costume that I could take pictures of...LOL). I looked at some photos that had clothing and such, but most of it is made up and from memory.

Are you originally from Philly?
