This is the biggest change in Peter Parker's life in years and it's all happening in Amazing Spider-Man #648, from the new ongoing creative team of fan-favorite Spidey Scribe Dan Slott and red hot artist Humberto Ramos!

Spidey's new status quo starts right here in a story so big we needed a double-sized first issue and a twice-monthly series to tell it!  Peter Parker's life has reached a crucial turning point, and nothing will ever be the same! New job! New costume! New girlfriend! New Spider-Girl! Big Time is so big that we had to bring The Sinister Six, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, Mary Jane, Flash Thompson and the all new, all different Spider-Girl together this November, only in Amazing Spider-Man #648!

Most impressive. I like it a lot. I'm still not 100% sure Slott is the man to be writing this but Ramo's definitly fits.

Doubly. I love it when artists do that after image stuff while Spidey's acrobating.

Love it.

Only time Impulse was cool was when Waid did the words and Ramos did the art.

I'm conflicted about Spider-Man being with the Avengers. I don't think it's the right place for him. He's too "do my own thing" to be on a team as bound by rules and regulations as the Avengers. But he has some of the best lines and usually provides the best voice for the reader.

I can't stand it
it strikes me as someone who can't decide what kind of artist he wants to be and, without fail, the art pulls me out of any book he draws at least once

Could be worse. Could be JRjr. That man could not draw Iron Man right if you put a gun to his head.

but, IMO, JrJr used to be good, so there is hope he can get it back
I can't think of a time when I read a Ramos book and thought, "wow, that looks great!"
