I had no problems with his performance in Spidey 3.

I couldn't take it seriously. He was a little bitch. Even when as Venom.
Plus.. I think both Shia and Gordon-Levitt are better actors by far.

He was meant to be a bitch when he was Eddie, but as Venom he was actually nicely creepy for all of ten minutes.

I dunno, I found him to be just as much of a bitch as Venom.

He was barely in the movie as Venom, so I guess he never really had the chance to be a reaql threat, but he certainly didn't seem like the weasely dick he had been.

See that's how I felt too. I think he did the best he could with the time and material he had but he didn't seem to be in the movie for very long at all. Not nearly enough to properly develop the character.

To be fair, it's kinda good that he sucked cos I can look at Topher without seeing Venom now. Same with Ellen Page who I keep forgetting was in X3.

See.. I can't.
When I see him, I see annoying Eric Foreman, and I see Eddie Brock. He hasn't done enough for me to see him as anything else.

He was great in Traffic. I loved his Ocean's cameos as himself too.

Ah, well seeing annoying Eric is probably why you think he's such a bitch in Spidey.

Yeah, him and Tracy Thoms are my suggestions.
Any thoughts for Dr. Mann?

I don't want Halle Berry, I don't want whatever other big name would probably be cast..
Tracie Thoms from Death Proof is perfect.
Agreed
Ten yers ago I would have said Basset, but age is catching up to her quick..
