Then you might not want to read as according to Lemire, Stranger is going to be a main character in the book.

Call me when Johns-Boy is gone and the REAL Superboy that Kesel and Grummett created is back.

Jeff Lemire wrote this, Johns has nothing to do with the book.

I did not know that. Still like I said I'll reserve comment on PS until I read the issue, but that is a character I've never been able to enjoy and feel like he sucks the story out of any book. Now I have faith in Lemire so I'm hoping his writing will change my opinion.

Geoff's "half-Luthor!" retcon is referenced in this preview.
We're still dealing with Johns-Boy.

It'd be worse if they went

"Oh, you know what? It was Westfield all along!"

I'm a massive fan of the Kesel run, but what's done is done.

No, it wouldn't. That's what they did with the Luthor retcon in the first place.

I'm a massive fan of the Kesel run, but what's done is done.

"Done is done"??
Not with Geoff "Change EVERYthing!!" Johns around.

When a hero comes along, YOU RETCON IT!!
Any past you think is wrong, YOU RETCON IT!!

They need to give him a proper costume. If not the Kirby inspired classic, then something Superman--ish.

If they went back to the original origin, that'd be basically someone coming along going 'This was better this way, back when I was reading it'

I thought you hated that.

No, it wouldn't. It would be fixing an origin that didn't need to be radically altered just to cater to some Asylum-Running fanboy's raging ego.

So it's not a retcon if Herald says it's not.

Good to know.

It's an undoing of a retcon because logic says it is.
Undoing, say, a Mind Rape is not itself a Mind Rape. You are FIXING a problem.

You Fail Logic Forever.

Good to know.

I'd guess that Connor is around 18 years old. It gets confusing, though, with the way DC has been flip-flopping on Tim Drake's age. He was 19 pre-Red-Robin, then at the end of the first year, he's referred to as an "emancipated minor?" Huh? That must make him 17 at oldest.

He would be perfect on anything!

I'm glad they changed Superboy's captions, the black with red letters was really hard to read.
