I'm not against a Robocop remake.

It's like something in the comic book universe. Once in a while it needs to be reimagined and relaunched.

Robocop works best as cheesy goodness. I don't want a badass Robocop, I want the man in a suit that looks lame as can be.

Right I knew I had that part right, although I think boo counts as an important character so that makes 5, but I was worried I didn't have enough "stars" to make Voltron.

You know they were talking about remaking Revenge of the Nerds and Adventures in Babysitting at one point, right? Nerds fell through (thank goodness!) but Babysitting has Raven Simone attached to it...

Yeah. There was also the one with the cars that had like 15 parts and I always forgot how to put together again. As a result, whenever I played with it, it never got taken apart

I'd never even heard of this flick until this thread, and yet I still completely agree w/ your agreement.

Shane Black flix don't ever need to be remade, and as you point out neither do Stan Winston's efx.

I'll have to keep an eye out for this flick. Sounds like something I'd like.

For instance Dragnet is a great movie. It took the idea in a different direction but wasn't ashamed of the source material.

Dragnet the film is one of my favorite comedies. The scene in which Tom Hanks spills the pills always busts my gut.
