Of the big two, yes, he's pretty bad.

that is if we keep it limited to the big 2.

I don't see why we should. Image in particular had some real bad designs.

Druid was also featured in this series which was written by Warren Ellis.

Druid has been in awesomely bad and awesomely amazing stuff.

Wasn't that really out of continuity? Because I remember reading it and thinking that Ellis's Druid does not act anything like the Avengers Druid.

That's where he dies and his death has been referenced in other books described exactly as it happened in that series, so yeah its in continuity.

I just say that because I've never read an image book.

But I reckon this comic book could single handedly explain everything wrong with the 90's

Wow, that brings up some unpleasant memories. Marvel really created some crappy ass characters in the 90's but DC takes the prize because they created this monstrosity (in 1988 no less)

This looks like a fun book that I really hope I can pick up some day.

Now I wanna have a thread about crappy comic characters but I'm betting we'd miss some of the worst of the worst simply because they weren't memorable enough.

Who is the woman on the bottom left frame? I've placed every death scene in there except that....and according to Wikipedia Hellstorm killed Doctor Druid so unless they turned him into a woman in the 90's that cannot be Hellstorm.

Nekra shot him first and then Hellstorm burned his body and dumped it in a dumpster. I have that series -- Wikipedia has it wrong.

I love seeing dead heroes come back as long as it makes some kind of sense. This should be pretty cool.

Some? Image had pretty much every conceivable bad design and then some that were simply inconceivable yet they still managed to publish them. :-D And that's exactly why it should be kept out of a big list of bad designs. They deserve their own list. :-D

I keep forgetting Yellowjacket II perished during the Crossing and the death was kept. Goddamnit now her's is a death that should be be retconned away. She be a nice fit in the Thunderbolts since she sort of the original Thunderbolt in the fact she was a Master of Evil and switched to the good guys.
