Watching the movie right now, haven't seen it in a while, it's such a damn good story.

I remember the first time I watched that movie. It was on tv and it was the scene where he introduces himself to Evey. Fell in love with the movie right there :D

It was a pretty good adaptation of the original comic though they did muck around with the timing of events a bit from what I recall.

My partner loves the movie

Hugo Weaving's acting in that film was a tour de force.

Awful hack job of an adaption. All the soul and subtlety of the original was washed away in a whirl of bullshit.

Good moments but I really never want to see it again and I loved the comic.

The book is light years better. Still, as far as adaptations go, it wasn't bad. But it's a far better movie if you just distance yourself from the book, and try to look at it as it's own thing.

I can only view it from The Beard's perspective.

Children of Men is far superior but V's still a good movie.

I've only read the first few issues of the comic. It's not like it was bad, I actually enjoyed it, was just too distracted to finish it. Maybe that's why I don't understand why people rag on it as a bad adaptation.

i haven't seen the movie since reading the comic.
i'm not sure i'd want to.
i enjoyed the movie when i saw it and loved the comic more.
i think it's best to leave them alone in my mind that way.

The only part that seemed odd/out-of-place for me was the Matrix-y scene towards the end with V where he takes out all those people. I'm sure he's that much of a bad-ass, but the way it was filmed seemed out of place from the rest of the movie's tone.

I hate this movie.

Moore was right, his comic books should never be made into movies, all of them have sucked so far.

I hated changing the voice of fate into a Rush Limbagh type and stuff like that. They tried to make it a shot at modern day America and it was fail.
