Gerogia, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi regularly churn out a crapload of Div 1 level talent. That's a huge part of it. Plus the SEC has a ridiculous amount of really good coaching right now. Saban, Spurrier, Tuberville, Richt, Brooks, Meyer, ect.

but as much as i do hate Saban, i will agree that this is a great point.

the following SEC Coaches have all won National Titles at SEC schools (although not necessarily the one they're at currently):
Fulmer
Meyer
Miles
Saban
Spurrier

Richt is due for one sooner or later. Tubs got hosed out of an opportunity for one when Auburn went 13-0 a few years ago. Johnson won a I-AA title (i think) before coming to Vandy. and none of those guys are even the defending league Coach of the Year; that guy resides in Starkville by the way.

Whatever, Fulmer has a tendency to get disinterested and apathetic. If this keeps him motivated and lights a fire under his ass I'm all for it. He's not legally culpable for anything and it really is just a show for the media. TN, under Fulmer, has traditionally played better with their backs against the wall and/or in the underdog role.

Every year but the one this has been true of his teams. They tend to overlook folks and lose game to less talented teams.

And you being in SEC country may give you an edge in hating the asshole, but if so it's a small edge. I really hate that fucker.

the SEC will again have 9 bowl teams (with 2 in the BCS), USC will roll OSU who will then roll the rest of the Little 11, Clemson will finally win the ACC and get lambasted in a BCS game (unless they play the Big 12 winner, in which case who cares who wins b/c they'll both be terrible), WV will win the Big East and Michigan will realize just how much they overpaid for Rodriguez, and Florida will play USC for the national title.

just get ready, it's coming. they may score 45 a game; just too many weapons. and their defense won't be great, but should be improved over last year.

I don't think the SEC gets 9 bowl teams again, but I can't think of any teams that have no shot.

Reek will make excuses after USC beats OSU and we will all laugh at him. Then when they beat all the crappy teams on their schedule he'll act pissed if they aren't in the National Championship. I like to call that Notre Dame syndrome.

Clemson may win the ACC, but that league looks to suck again this year so I don't care.

WV will be fine as you said, plus the Big East sucks. Michigan will lose 4 games and Rich will blame it on not having the right players for his system. Fans will buy this for a couple years. Then they will want him run out of town, but the price will be too much.

Florida vs USC seems like a really good pick for the national title game. As such it has 0 chance of happening because the two obvious picks never both end up there.
