Jude, when you get done with all those DLCs you should rank them for us. It sounds like some are better then others.
Sure.
1. Zombie Island - this one was the best because it offers more of the gameplay style of the rest of the game, but with a different, horror-inspired theme. The zombies make great enemies, slow, but there are swarms of them. Lots of new areas to explore, bosses to kill, loot to be gained.
2. Claptrap Revolution - this is just barely #2, it's a lot of fun like the above, the claptrap humor and robotic versions of previous enemies are pretty funny. A lot of good boss fights here too.
3. General Knoxx - this one was fun, but has a very serious drawback in that you have to do a LOT of driving over very long distances to get anywhere. This changes the gameplay experience drastically, where there is a lot of travel time as everything is very spread out. As a result, I ended up skipping a lot of side-quests as I didn't feel like driving for ten minutes to get to a destination. However, the main boss fight is fucking awesome (though you get to do it again twice in Claptrap Revolution). Lots of weapon chest around, and looting the armory at the end results in lots of great loot.
4. Underdome - pointless, even if it wasn't laggy. Might be fun with a team for some short encounters.
