I loved all of Winnicks run on the book, I think it is by far and away his best comics work of his career.

Mimic was my favorite character of the series and I basically lost all interest in the series when he died. I loved the evil Spider-Man that showed up as a part of the evil Exiles, he was nasty and funny! One of my favorite moments was when they were on the world where they picked up Magik and Iron Fist punche a whole right through Colossus chest that was sweet!!

Austen and Bedards runs were ok but like I said before after Mimic was gone so was I pretty much. Haven't checked out New Exiles because none of the members of the team really appealed to me.

I also loved Power Fist. That was a cool idea, didn't he show up in that other Exiles team put together in the one shot between #100 and NE #1?

I used to love the Exiles. Now I do not. Well...I love reading the old issues still. The New Exiles are shit as far as I'm concerned. I kinda wish they'd just given Claremont an entirely new title to play with instead of crapping on this one.

I read acouple issues, but I couldn't get into it at all.

I never really got into Austen's run.

Like when he had the Exiles pretty much as guest stars in their own book. And turned Mutant X Havok into a moustache twirling bad guy. Nocturne's power doesn't work on him... then it does. Havok's bleeding out from a gut wound... then he's not.

And I've got to wonder what he was thinking for King Hyperion. "Okay, so I'm gonna have the chick who goes to any length to complete missions try and team up with the guy who won't complete his missions. And I'm gonna say 'Only 6 will move on', even though that doesn't necessarily fix the problem..." I'm just glad Bedard made it work after the fact...

Just my opinion, of course.

Austen's run was still better than the shit Claremont puts out monthly. New Exiles = same old Claremont shit. Although I do like his GeNext mini.

Yeah it is suprising how good GeNext is compared to all the other crap he has written lately.

I did not like the King Hyperion story, just think the character is pretty fucking lame.
