It's a non-sectarian fraternity, Pi Lambda Phi, so it attracts a lot of Jewish students who dont want to join a "Jewish" fraternity (and a lot of "whatever-Students" not wanting to join a "whatever-frat").
It was started as a non-discriminatory fraternity by a group of Jewish and Christian guys way back when fraternities would, by charter, discriminate against students based on race, creed, religion, etc....although, there are still quite a few fraternities that discriminate along those lines, they're just not allowed to be as open about it.
