Hmm, mixed feelings. Other than a few subtle hints at the Zodiac wheel there were virtually no hints as to where SHIELD tied in with Secret Warriors. Kinda dropped out of nowhere, despite the fact we knew it was coming. Seem cool but also random

Will have more to say later when I pick it up..

This issue only raised more questions! I think we found out who Kraken is... but I'm not sure.

So Hydra, Leviathan and SHIELD all came from The Shield? And what was that scene when it looked like Nick Fury was shot in the head? Guh.

I always thought it was Jacob Fury. That theory still hold up?

That's a popular and perfectly plausible theory, all he has to do is not be dead which is nothing.

So--I'm just gonna forget watching spoilers in the Review Thread...

Don't read this, Frank Einstein:

The Zodiac shown here IS NOT the same Zodiac from the early Marvel Comics with Scorpio and Taurus, even though they are members of the Zodiac shown here....right? It seems like they made their own Maggia-style Zodiac group shown as a shadowy group of figures in those early comics, but were also part of this other Zodiac with Fury and Leonardo Da Vinci before that. :?

I guess so, especially since he was the character who we followed at the start of the issue.

I'm going to be skipping this week just because I've fallen behind on Secret Warriors, and won't have time to catch up anytime soon.

Danke. Anything that looks remotely on topic I will be avoiding, I don't want to be spoiled when I read the trade for this 18 months from now. 8)

Because in comics that is a huge roadblock

But when at the end of #24 he was consoling Fury on the death of Mikel that theory gained a lot more weight in my eyes.

Oh okay. I'm not caught up to the last issue of Secret Warriors, but I bought and read this anyway. I think that's a good theory though, from what I know--it makes a lot of sense.

I'll still be doing a review for this, I'll just be doing it GLX style.

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
Which is to say I'll be doing it a year from now. :-D

Actually, maybe when I do my review for 260 I'll go back and review the last book I missed before this which I think was Invincible #40.

Oh I know you'll fill in your streak eventually, but weeks where half the participating group of members don't write reviews or even read the ones written due to spoilers are unexciting.
