Hmmm... One search response and it's you calling yourself a corporate whore. 8)

EDIT: Now two, both you.

Got you to pick MG over a FI tie-in, did it not? Mission accomplished!

And don't play like you were always planning to pick MG. We all know it crushed your soul not to pick Marvel.

Not really, I had 3 possible choices in my head, either MG, Fear Itself: Book Of The Skull or THUNDER Agents.

That's one Marvel, one DC and one Indie.

I have balanced tastes.

Say I get 20 hours out of a $60 video game.

I would have to buy 80 Superman comics to be entertained for the same amount of time.

Comics aren't a super great value anymore. It's a boutique industry pricing itself out of relevancy, obv.

See, I think $60 is too much for a video game, they've gotten too expensive. That's why I only play DS, where games are on average about £20 (on Amazon).

Those are all good books, THUNDER Agents less a good pick just because of the point in the story it's at. Would be interesting though.

Yeah, but it's in no more of a confusing place than Secret Warriors was, or this week.

Pfft. A real whore (you) would include an 'indie' to disguise their corporate whore heart.

Besides, it's not like you picked a self-published comic, stop patting yourself on the back.

I don't think it's really feasible to pick a self-published book, the logistics of everyone finding a copy would be hard.

Creator-owned is the best we can go for.

I'm not particularly patting myself on the back, I like Big Two comics, and consider them to be of equal value to indies, you have to judge each book on it's own merits.

He considers them all to be 7/10s in his book.

Typical reasoning from a Disney/Warners comic book consumer.
