Star Wars Dark Horse 20th Anniversary Panel starts...

Jeremy Atkins introduces panel.  Star Wars Jedi: The Darkside. Introduces the creative team for the book. Writer for the book wanted to explore the history of Qui-Gon Jinn since there was so much untapped potential with the character.

New Star Wars: Invasion series called Revelations. The series takes place during the battle of the New Republic and the Rebels.

Darth Vader and the Lost Command. Hard cover coming out in the fall of 2011. Another Vader series, sequel to Dark Times. Clone Wars chatter. Next Star Crusher with Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Introduces John Jackson Miller for another new Star Wars book, Deluge, coming out in August. Promises a whole lot of star fighter combat during the series.

Old Republic series: The Lost Sons. The book takes place during the game coming out during the summer. Book gives an intimate look of what goes on in the game. Book will come out in June.

Crimson Empire III will be in Dark Horse Presents. Set two years after the sequel and will be by the writer of the past two Crimson Empire books. No more new info is revealed other than some teaser art.

A creator of the Legacy book comes onto the stage. Agent of the Empire series introduced. The series takes place three years before a New Hope. The creator of the book considers it James Bond meets Star Wars.

Legacy War talk. Will there be more Legacy after the finale? The creator is teasing that some major deaths will occur at the the end of the book. No spin-off series yet announced.

Fan Questions are up.

The first one is: any comics based on Battlefront on the horizon? No plans right now.

How does Dark Horse balance the new continuity introduced in Clone Wars TV series? They have a continuity expert is on hand to help make sure things run smoothly.

Any steps taken for delivery of the sequel of Dark Times? They do their best to keep it on schedule. They will do what they can to address any delays.

Fan asks: you can't kill everyone on Legacy, can you? Bet me.

Any new X-Wing mini-series in the future? Possibly, but not right now.

Will you guys do a Plo Koon and Ahoska back story? They cannot say anything directly right now, but you will know in the future.

More Quinlan Vos? Right now his story is told for now. George Lucas himself ordered a nice long break for him.

Knights of the Old Republic question: will we be seeing some awesome characters in the new book? Right now we cannot talk about the game without spoiling it. Stay tuned.

Possible direct adaption of stories from Dark Horse to be animated ala what Marvel and DC are doing? Right now that sort of thing is up to Lucasfilm, not them.

Do you look at recent political issues for introducing new Star Wars comics? Yes, they do, not just recent events but also elements from the past.

More Force Unleashed comics? Stay tuned in the future.

Rogue Squadron fix in the Invasion series? We're starving here says person with the question. Panel says they don't have anything planned at the moment. They know it is a well loved piece and that just be patient in the future.

Any more comics in the Darth Bane time-line? Not right now.

Which is your fav Star Wars film? From the various panel members: Empire Strikes Back, Empire and A New Hope, Empire again, A New Hope, and Return of the Jedi.

Starter book for beginners? Dark Age, Legacy trades, and other examples. We will get your money somehow, someway.

Any more female characters? See Old Republic for just that and the Qui-Gon series.

Big shiny oversized Dark Empire hardcover due to 20th Anniversary? Not really at the moment due them releasing a new hardcover.
