Because he was a D.A. He still had morals, and a sense of right and wrong. You don't think going through the trauma of awaiting your own death, only to find out at the last second the woman you're gonna marry is gonna die just so you can live.. and then you get half your face grossly burned down to nothing but muscle and melted flesh.. would affect him mentally a little bit, and make him unstable enough so that the restraint he had before was no longer there?

I think it might make me cry a lot, not hatch some nonsense scheme to share my pain with one of my bud's by offing one of his sons.

I will give you it's a comic movie and over thinking things isn't necessary. I loved DK, but, for me, the whole Two Face arc was rushed and not 'smart'.

He was born out of a tragic and traumatic event. Just like Batman.

I would say, by adding Rachel to TDK Two-Face's origin.. it's much more plausible than the comics version, with the acid in the face.

I liked Dark Knight better but that quotes awesome, now Bale should say something about Iron Man.

Also, I wouldn't say Eckhart was better than Ledger but he was just as good.

For me, I didn't even notice it was Ledger. I mean, obviously I knew it was him, but he was a completely different character in that movie. That's why I think he had the strongest performance.

I like Eckhart a lot (Thank You for Smoking was brilliant), but he was really just himself.

Exactly. Ledger lost himself in the role. I think that's what every actor strives to do.

Oh, and my 2 cents on the Two-Face transformation.

I think that was done well. His evolution to Two-Face worked, but it was the ending that felt rushed.

I know the movie was running long already, but that final confrontation, and the epilogue that followed felt a little unsatisfying. It seemed like they were trying to get through too much and didn't have enough time.

Totally agree!
What should have been the big emotional and narrative climax of the movie felt like a tacked on epilogue.

Yup. I didn't see Batman Begins and I had no problems at all watching this movie. I understood the big picture and everything.
