I'm not all the way through the story yet, but so far I agree with all of Jude's critiques, but I would add this: spelling counts!

So by your Logic, every effin artist like Walt Simonson drawing THOR is just a fanboy because he isn't Jack Kirby? So all the great stories that Frank Miller did, including Batman is just a fan boy?

These two examples took the books and the characters to new heights, not to mention we have decent movies finally because of Miller. (OK, NO ONE MENTION THE SPIRIT MOVIE!)

You could have easily tweaked this story, took the Marvel characters out of the equation, and had your very own "INDIE" comic but instead.......you did what you did . I hope my comment is more clear to you now.

besides Simonson's Thor was done in highschool by Simonson then tweaked when he finally got the chance.

The lettering has already been talked about, so I won't bother with that. The art was pretty bad, IMO. Story left a lot to be desired. It was pretty groan-inducing.

And if we really want to talk about copyrights maybe Marvel should give the Capt. America rights back to Simon & Kirby.

This is not actually true. Granted Marvel probably won't do anything b/c it's just fanfic, but they actually could if they wanted to. I've had a lot of my work pulled from places using my photography work even though it was fan created stuff and wasn't for profit or similar.



Although why is captain america knocking down the buildings on the cover?? that seems like an odd thing for him to do..
