The Targaryens have done it throughout their history, it's what made some of them a bit mad.

It is like that, but that's part of what makes it so good, the world of Westeros is so detailed it's almost real.

I'll read it eventually I know, its sitting there waiting.

Everytime I criticize something you clearly love, it so injures your vagina that it starts leaking all over your keyboard. Is there ever gonna be a moment where you move on from the very first time I said something that made your pussy hurt? Or is it always gonna be the motivation for every response you make to me?

I mean, have you ever even stopped to consider why everyone thinks you're a dick?

Punchy certainly wasn't the nicest in his critique of you strict but I sort of agree that the human element of the show will decide whether it lasts or not and not the zombie/vampire killer things

The first episode covers only the very earliest parts of the book, up until Chapter 8. It is kind of mixed up as it doesn't use the book's POV character structure and just shows the bird's eye view, but the episode ends where the 8th chapter (the 2nd Bran chapter) ends.

Sweet, thanks. I'll be watching episode one earlier than expected.

There is very little, if any, super natural fighting. The only thing I can think of is :

It's always the human element. It's about making you care about the world that needs to be saved.

Lotta nekkid in this episode. Is there a lot of explicit fucking in the books or something? I mean, the scene with the whore and the little imp dude was on the verge of porn with all that slurping and shit.

They gotta set up all the characters and intrigue, but I'm a bit more interested in the White Walkers than the murderous interplay of incestuous nobles and what-not. Threat from the North, yo. Somebody's gonna have to get on top of that shit.

There's already a bunch of folks I wouldn't mind seeing killed off, and only a few that I like enough to start caring about.

But good god, Emilia Clarke has a legendary ass...Assuming that was her ass and not a booty-double.

Yes and great boobs. They may not big, but they are well shaped and sized. Her face is cute too. :-D

I only saw a bit of it and that it was chuck full of nude women. The corpse kid in the woods was creepy. She had a face like one of those dolls... with those glazed eyes...

Luckily it's playing on TMN and will be available on free demand as of tomorrow or next week. I won't be missing it.

If/when the show makes it to season 2 or 3, there will be more supernatural stuff.

While the book starts off with White Walkers and wights, I'm sort of surprised the first 5 minutes of the show was the same. It sort of sets a false tone for the series. My wife almost stopped watching it before the scene was over.

 My wife also did the same, she doesn't like watching that stuff right before bed or she'll get nightmares but luckily she stuck it out and ended up liking it
