"Whoa whoa whoa! Friends, refugees, countrymen; lend me your ears... Are you all chaotic stupid? The Weasel and that rag he calls trench coat are exactly why we're in this situation in the first place! Remember Abbadon and the egg of doom? Totally him. I don't believe a word he says and neither should you. I trusted him once and it nearly ended all of us. Rally around me, my friends, and I'll give you the truth. To me, survivors!"

None of them remember an Egg of Doom(tm). To them, you're just talking crazy. Several of them are so enamored with the Weasel that they speak up and tell you to stop harassing them and this really nice guy who's just trying to bring them together in a time of crisis.

Somewhat of a situational update so everybody's on the same page...

You guys aren't starving now, not if you keep fishing, gathering debris and keep the fire going -- that'll help with exposure issues when it gets dark in about an hour (game time), and help keep everyone warm. So long as the Weasel doesn't give them an alternate plan, the other survivors (including Yuargl and Armanda) are more than willing to assist you.

Everyone in the party gets 5 good role-playing XP for solving your immediate food problems.

I assume you've got your fire-pit in a center-ly position to maximize heat generated and reduce the risk of ocean spray putting it out. The Weasel and other spell-casters can purify water to drink -- Jude's about to tell you how, I think -- and keep that wine bucket full so people have something to drink.

No one's made the roll to craft makeshift life vests out of the salvaged chair cushions yet.

Pinky said it was going to rain tomorrow, that looks accurate, so that's a problem you're going to have to deal with. You also need to keep someone(s) on lookout in case sharks or other deep-sea beasties come to investigate all this blood in the water (only a matter of time), not to mention the lack of propulsion in any desired direction. You'll drift about 6 mph but that's not going to keep you on any discernible course, nor will it guarantee landfall.

He looks around as everyone starts to look to Weasel as their savior. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me." Sabo mummers as he gives a rather sharp face palm. Pointing to Weasel "I've only know you for a better part of a few hours and that was more then enough time to learn you are not to be trusted. The people want to follow you? Fine. That gives me less to worry about. I will keep an eye on you to prevent whatever dangers you bring us because of your stupidity in trying to save your own neck and to make sure we all get out of this alive." Sabo looks around. "Ok, what's next."

Unfortunately, Flare is a lot more limited than you or your companions would like it to be. It only has a 25 ft. range, so it can only go off 25 ft. above where you're standing, unless you've taken one of the applicable meta-magic feats.

Still, it's worth a shot. Good thinking (if I didn't mention that before). There are no immediate effects but that doesn't mean someone didn't see it. Most boats have a lookout(s) posted, actively scanning the horizon, so at least you've got that going for you. How many times are you going to cast Flare? Doing it multiple times would increase your chances that someone would see it.

Also, pay no attention to this roll...

(Assuming the passengers have gathered containers of water as he asked...)

The Weasel goes to a container of water. "Now, my minions, observe as my finely honed magical talents transform this disgusting salty liquid into clean and drinkable water. If any are capable, you may copy my spell and do the same."

The Weasel closes his eyes and casts Prestidigitation, cleaning the water, one cubic foot at a turn. (The spell can continue to clean for an hour, and the water will remain permanently drinkable.)

The Weasel takes a deep bow. "We're doing great, Trenchcoat!"

You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

If it's important enough to you, you can use your Action Point, roll a 1d6 and then add it to your roll. You'd have to roll 3 or higher to beat Weasel's Bluff, and this is the last time you'll be able to roll another Sense Motive until I let you know. :)
