There's enough "food" in the water right now that the sharks probably won't bother you unless you bother them first. Some of that flesh is going bad in the sun, certainly, but the weather's been temperate and it's only been about two days since the Aria sank. Unless, of course, they're not regular sharks. They may be something else. (But, based on your check, you don't think they are.)

And don't forget: Weasel asked you to keep an eye on Faolan and Sabo.

You might need to keep more than an eye on them, those dastardly troublemakers.

Sabo takes off his boots and rolls up his sleeves. "Unless something thinks we can get a boat up next to the ship, I guess it is time for everyone into the pool. Those who are having second thoughts about this please speak up now, or no harm or opinion if you decide stay behind." Sabo clears out his backpack so that all is remaining are

Caltrops
Candle
Chalk
Crowbar
Fishhook
Ink vial
Mirror
Sewing needle
Signal whistle
Magnifying glass
Thieves' tools
Dagger

I will place the Portal on my chest so that if I do get captured it would not be with the other gear. Place one toe in the water Sabo grimaces from the cold. "Oh, yeah this is a great idea." He looks off to the Dark Water and makes sure no one is looking in his direction once that is the case he quietly slips into the water and keeps his head low enough so it cannot be seen from over the side.

Calming himself before slipping into the water, Faolan readies for the shock of the cold and says a quiet prayer to Olidammara. "Into the drink.."

Before Faolan and Sabo drops in, some of the passengers raise the idea that botched interference might lead to the Weasel's death and caution you against doing so. (You going to have to convince them. Trey, if you do, you can keep your tremendous swim roll -- I just want you guys to deal with this little bit first ... if you can.)

Beat the survivors' opposed Diplomacy check...

"My friends and compatriots, Sabo and I know full what we're doing and the consequences of our actions, should we fail... But we will not fail. Our goal is salvation of the group and we will not fail in that pursuit. I know the Weasel has cautioned you against our intentions, but we seek only to assist and to protect. How many of you remember the battles we fought on The Aria and how we strove to keep you safe from Abbadon and the zombie menace? We were there among you, just as scared but resolute in our mission that darkness would not prevail, that anguish would not win out, we will not go quietly into the night, today we celebrate our independance day!... eh wrong speech there.. Believe in us and we will not fail you."

They nod, collectively, except Slug (who continues to ignore you). You've convinced them that this is the best path against the untrustworthy pirates and you're free to move forward with the plan. Pinky and River, you need to roll your own opposed Diplomacy checks, against Faolan's 18, to see whether you agree or not. You're the ones best suited to stopping them, after all.

With a grin Sabo goes, "Hey, that is my job for the inspirational speeches! Good job, I almost believe it." :-D

Tommas will stand by to see what they will do. If a magical fog cloud just appears it would seem strange so that may not be a good idea. Just a good ole slip into the water when no-one's looking may be the best idea. Tommas just stands by.
