i could, dammit. Flash is NOT that hard. you just need a smidge of imagination and a love of actual superhero tropes and customs.

The Flash universe seems to be a lot more convoluted than it was in the 90s. Have to admit Waid and Johns are equally to blame.

but it doesn't have to be. you just take it back to its core. guy who runs really really fast fights crime. throw in some colorful bad guys, some pseudo-science hoohah, and bring back the joy of superheroes to the one character who probably most embodies that idea.

Walmart is no doubt looking at how the Kickstart books are selling there to see if they may choose to do this later. Course, the fact that they're selling the books so much lower then what the price point is via Diamond makes people wonder how low they might sell comics/trades from Marvel or DC if they did decide to carry them.

The Kickstart books are listed at $8.99 in Previews. Walmart's selling them $3 each.
