Newton is convinced that SHIELD is just a caretaker for the world, and that the world will end in 2060, and it's our fate to die. He wants to make that happen.
Da Vinci doesn't believe in fate, and offers eternity.
I don't know what is confusing here, honestly. A history of SHIELD, and a battle for it's future.
Leonid, from SHIELD #6.. basically tells you right there what it's about.
I didn't grasp this until this issue we just got.
Even so though I think issue 6 is a bit late for a limited series.
And I generally really enjoy Hickman's work.
