Actually, Cloak and Dagger have been revealed to not be mutants after all. And thus no longer really have any tie to the X-Men.

Even non-mutants like Carol Danvers and Longshot have stronger ties.

*shrug* They were on several X-Men teams (as recently as Dark X-Men and joining the X-Men after that) though so I am counting them. If you can find a replacement then it's good.
