I like it when "I don't understand this" and "This is pretentious" slowly merge into synonyms.

You can understand the book and still find it pretentious.

For me, most of the pretentiousness comes out in the dialogue, the stupid buzzword speak, 'the entropy of the human condition' and things like that.

And even if you do understand it, there's still the problem of Leonid's complete lack of personality.

Really? I like it when they crash together at great speeds, after one of them fails to signal the merge.

How worked up can one get about a third RG thread about a book that just gives more of the same?

Same same same. Glowing dickless time-traveling Michelangelo has a statue of the Kirby Eternal Ikaris in his studio. Hopefully now that the pointless jump to the future is over for the three Dads and a bird this series will start to go somewhere besides Newton vs Da Vinci.

6.5

You scored this book higher than Punchy did. That makes you the new Punchy.

I give it a 3.

That gives it an average score of 4.33, the lowest since Lorna.

Also, since I last dusted off the SoD (yes I lied about updating it. I've been busy), the average score has been 5.89, with the only two books breaching a seven being Uncanny X-Men and Walking Dead.

Thank god we have Aquaman to save us.

Also, I'm clearing out all the inactive members from the member list. Everyone else gets a free pass.

I'm pretty sure Punchy would take exception to that.

Btw, Chris, that's still not enough to keep it from being the worst score in the last two months.

4.9 now.
