My grandmother thought her DVD was broken because the same bit kept showing over and over.

She really enjoyed that menu screen.

I freaking [b]love[b] that movie!

A friend brought his copy of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World over Sunday. We've never read the comics but my wife and I liked the movie. Our friend said it was even better with a second viewing.

I dunno if netflix has it, Media Blasters released it on DVD 5 or 6 years ago but it's not cheap. I got a good deal at a convention, I buy more DVDs than comics at them sometimes.

Same here, and I agree.

The last film I saw in the theater was Kung Fu Panda 2, and I should have waited for that on disc. Right now I've got Kick Ass at home from Netflix for this weekend.

In the theaters- X-men: First Class- and may I say, Nicholas Hoult (who played Beast) super HOT! (when he wasn't blue that is)

On DVD: A Single Man (good, but sad).

Piñata: Survival Island - nothing like watching Xander, Ensign Harry Kim and Earl's exwife be terrorized by a demonic piñata on a tropical island. Where's Buffy and Giles when you need them? Still, the cgi was pretty post-millenial but better than what you see on Syfy now and the group was pretty um..."dollsome".

Watched The Fountain with the girlfriend a night or two ago. Pretty interesting, if not slightly confusing and overly done on the visuals.
