I've felt that way twice today before this guy. One was some stupid bitch complaining about the ninth street store closing, she wouldn't shut the fuck up, she sucked... The other guy wanted to sell some fucking action figures, cut me off in the middle of words, and was like the dog in Up... "So I have these action fig... After Watchmen, what's that? These are the action figur... What's Alan Moore writing these days? Would you want to buy... No, seriously, is there a sequel to Watchmen?"

Another thing I hate about comics, and I am sure Vic already knew this, especially given some of his comments of late, but the Canadian Postal Service is on strike?!?!?! :smt013

Talk to Stephen Day, he claims to be involved somehow.

Yep, I was complaining about that, they've suspended mail to the whole country. Amazon even advised me that if I couldn't make other arrangements I should edit each listing individually.

I haven't decided what I am gonna do yet, but this is pretty fucking dumb. How does it effect UPS and the ilk?

I think UPS is your best bet.

I don't think I am gonna put in the time to adjust each listing, but I am offering people in Canada a refund, to wait or explore other shipping options, so UPS may see some money at some point.

Same here, it hasn't come up yet though--on AZ at least, Canadians seem to be not ordering as much. Probably don't want to take the chance it goes to limbo.

If I had to, I would probably do UPS--I'm sure the discussion boards are on fire about it but I haven't thought to check as I haven't had to deal with it yet either.

I got to the shop this am and there were three international boxes to mail from when I shipped on Wednesday, I go to the po cause boss man is in Philly. They take the Australian package, but the other two are Canadian, I emailed them but have not heard back yet. What's worse is I think both were processed rather late (but one is a website purchase, not ebay, so I could give two fucks if he is upset about the time involved)

If it were me, I'd email them and UPS them.\

You can do all the UPS stuff online too, I don't know maybe you already do that. I do 99% through USPS normally.

They should be happy you didn't send it when they were still accepting it here but it wasn't going to make it through the system, it all slowed down before it stopped.

I probably did send some things that way, I am kind of slack. Something about only working ten to fifteen hours a week means I have less time to do all the little extra things I did when I was full time, I can't possibly imagine why.
