Well, it wasn't technically for reading the comic...it was for getting onto Newsarama to talk about it after I had read it.

During my lunch break, I was in my mom's office eating lunch and reading comics. I used to check my email for school purposes and got a notification that someone had responded to a thread on OldRama. One of the HR people in the office caught me reading the Rama and used it to get me suspended in an ill-fated attempt to make my mom, a VP of the company, look bad. It was largely by accident (I didn't mean to click the link) but it was a breach of the computer policy. The HR guy was angling for my mom's job and filed a formal greivance, knowing that she'd have to take action on it and hoping that she'd do something silly. He didn't expect my mom to sign off on the suspension so readily or me to accept it as it so easily.

On a sidenote, he got fired like a month later when he tried to step up his sabotage game and failed.

As long as Bendis is still writing USM, then the Ultimate Universe will live on, that book has been very very consistent, and is one of the few comics I can think of that can and will survive the death of it's main character. I can't wait to see who this new Spider-Man is.

To be honest, the entire Ultimate line has been just as good as it always has been ever since Ultimatum, but has been under the radar and unappreciated. The Ultimate Doom trilogy was great, Ultimate Captain America was great, Ultimate Thor was good, Ultimate X is good, and even Loeb and Millar's stuff has been better than the consensus says it is.

Eh, I disagree. Millar's Ultimates minis have been pale imitations of Ultimates 1 or 2 largely because it relies on shock and awe solely with as little characterization as humanly possible.

Ultimate Captain America suffered from the "Ultimater" version of Captain America combined with the simple point that it contradicted another theme of the Ultimate Universe, namely the US's quest to recreate the Super Soldier serum and the resulting superhumans that spawned from those attempts.

If the United States had already cracked the super soldier serum and created a second secret Captain America, it seemed silly that they'd need to bring in countless companies and scientists to re-recreate the serum.

Let's hope that the "NuUltimate Universe" does away with the Ultimater versions of characters once and for all. We don't need legacy Ultimate characters, for crying out loud.

1. Game of Thrones. (nobody saw this coming)
This story would be great is comic book form and I'm really surprised it isn't already being done yet.

2. Caesar's Gallic War.
I cannot think of many things cooler than seeing Caesar siege Alesia, or his battle with Ariovistus. Caesar's purple cape would make for some iconic shots.

3. Starship Troopers.
Great book, great movie... great comic? I would bet money it would be if done right. I want my bugs going to town on the M.I. and Fleet. (IGW Editor's Note: Already been made by Dark Horse)

These are but the top three, I have so many other ideas floating around in my mind but with so little patience to write them down, i'll stop there. If anyone has other ideas for comics that I might/would like to see you should leave a post with your ideas!

DC's doing their damnedest to kill her more times than Marvel has killed Jean Grey.
Death loses any oomph after not taking three or four times.

We still are boys! I'm open to any and all suggestions to stories that would change my mind on the character.

It's just that she's been very, very underused since her resurrection to the point where I don't see why she was brought back. Also, she's been stabbed/lasered to death in like 50% of the stories that I've read of hers.
