I also remember when TV channels didn't change their programming but once a year. So I knew exactly what was coming on every night of the week.

I remember when my city got a second PBS station that was only on the air between 7pm and midnight, and yet I was still excited because it was one more station to possibly watch.

I remember when afternoon cartoons were preempted by stupid fucking specials teaching lessons about knocked up teenage sluts and drug use.
