THUNDER Agents #8

This seems like a cool comic. The different timelines, the different art styles, it has a nice vibe to it. This was my first THUNDER Agents comic so it was news to me that a character named Iron Maiden even existed. The only thing I could really take away from this is that the Grell/Staples sections looked amazing, the Dragotta/Loughridge art was fun and the current day stuff was like early Humberto Ramos with the manga influence sucked out.

If they release a trade for TA I'll buy it as this still appears to be the comic everyone claims it to be, but there wasn't a hook in this that would have made me want to read more without that peer pressure.

Story: 7
Current Art: 7
80's Art: 10
60's Art: 8
Overall: 7.67

First trade is out in November, I learned, right when Season 2 begins.

Yeah, it's been on Amazon with that date for a few weeks.

Clearly this week shows it's time for Yoni to return as tyrant to thin out the herd a bit. The slacking is contagious* and the once every 4 weeks thing isn't cutting it anymore.

* even I'm slacking now and I've posted reviews something like 270 out of 280 weeks. :smt013

And why the hell hasn't Canadian Stephen Day picked a book yet?

And what the hell did the cover of this book have to do with the inside of it?

He did. It's Jonah Hex.

And I agree. This is getting mildly ridiculous. Suggestions on the best way of fixing this?

Also, anyone complaining that they can't find this book hasn't learned to properly use the internets. It was everywhere by Thursday.

And just think, the one thing DC has done right with the relaunch means that no one will be able to blame their shitty LCS again the 1 out of every 8 weeks the Review Group picks a DC book.

What, he's too good to post the pick himself? I shouldn't have to read your random posts.

Also, update that shit in the OP so I don't have to go looking for it. :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

Threats of violence, public shaming and putting peoples name in red when they don't post reviews.

Hey, I'm eventually going to be posting a review. I borrow Thunder Agents from a friend to read. He hasn't given it to me yet. :smt102
