Wow, I am really glad that I didn't buy Marvel vs. Capcom when it first came out. After the final character list was announced, I lost all interest in the game. I just don't understand how it is a good business decision to leave out fan favorite characters like Cyclops and Mega Man but include characters like X-23 and Tron Bonne. Now that the full roster for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom has been leaked, I am once again excited about the series. While I am still disappointed that Cyclops and Mega Man are once again left on the cutting room floor, I will definitely buy this game for Nova, Hawkeye, and Rocket Raccoon alone.

I do feel bad for the people who have already bought the game though. Capcom should offer some form of discount to the people who were pretty much screwed with the original version.

So, is this everything from the previous iterations of MvC3 + new characters? All the shadow battles and downloadable characters, too?

I hope they'll follow the Super Street Fighter arcade edition example and offer a DLC upgrade to the Ultimate version for those of us that bought the original.

This thing that will get me to buy or not will be if they take out the minute long air juggle combos. After the third week MvC3 was out that's all people were doing in on line vs battles and the game stopped being fun to play. If those are gone or have an easy counter move I might buy the Ultimate edition.

I can counter them so their not a problem. The way people can structure fireball spamming to the extent that only experts can get around them however........

online play does become people doing nothing but spamming certain moves over and over. The game is decently balanced where someone who is good can counter that stuff, but for novice crackers like me I just get toasted.

Why I use She-Hulk or Wesker as a third member of my party. I find they easily break combos and can cause some heavy damage ones with ease.

I lost interest in playing it online because almost ever match was a race to see who could air combo the other guy first
