If Netflix had How I Met Your Mother or Community, I'd just get rid of my television services all together.

I think Community is on Hulu but HIMYM is no where. Legally.

Older movies are better than current movies.

Except the older the movie the more likely it is that I've already seen it 96 times and don't feel the need to watch it again.

Really? Despite three decades of watching movies, there are still so many older/classic movies that I haven't yet seen even once, not to mention the ones I'd love to watch again.

I like the quick shipping bonus, plus I could watch Amazon Prime on my Roku.
I'm tempted to add that and Hulu Plus and kick cable TV to the curb.

As for live sporting events like the Super Bowl or NCAA tourney, I have friends with bigger houses that typically host stuff (I've got it all planned!)

I just browsed it for a bit. Most of the good stuff you have to pay for, even if you have A-P. I don't think you can kick Netflix to the curb and just go with Amazon just yet.

I watched Time Bandits for the first time since I was a little kid. I thought that movie was only confusing as fuck because I was too young to understand it at the time. Apparently I was wrong. That movie is still fucking weird beyond words.

Same here. I don't watch movies on Netflix at all, actually -- I use it primarily to watch shows from the 80s and 90s.

Good to know; thanks for checking it out.
I want to keep Netflix, but I've had some technical problems with particular movies.
e.g. Patton (one of those classic movies I haven't yet watched) would not load at all, and since it wouldn't load, I couldn't report having a problem with that movie! :x

I can only imagine the internet outrage that would happen if Netflix paid the studios for all new movies considering the shit fit the internet threw when Netflix changed their prices just to keep up with what the studios are charging them now.

That was almost hilarious how much crap Netflix caught, not just from the internet, but also from the media.
You'd think Netflix had bathed in puppy blood or something.
