Behold the four, the answer to the human equation. Only through it's folded shape can the Marvel universe find its salvation.

I hope it's a story and not a change in title again.

Dead means he took a summer vacation. (if indeed it marks Johnny's return, with it will)

some Hickman interviews seem to indicate that the main part of his pitch for Fantastic Four won't even really start until after Johnny is back.

Geez, we really didn't see a dead body. All we saw was him getting carted off by Annihilus's forces.

Could this have to do with the recent results of the Kirby court case? That the whole Future Foundation or whatever it was called was nothing more then a move to counter a possible ruling like the utter BS one concerning Superman? I'd say yes.

That and they do own the Fantastic Four and not publishing them could cause them to loose them, like they did The Champions.

Probably not as the Season One books has been accepting pitches for a month or two.

That's it, kill a perfectly good internet rumor I just started so Joe Q would get his chops busted by the fans. :|

Not surprising. The original move was surprising because it came so close to the 50th anniversary and #600. I fully expected it to only last a year.
Something that everyone should know: There is no objective good and very little objective bad in entertainment media. Of the objective bad, much of it is unintentionally hilarious which gives it entertainment value for some people. If you understood this then 99% of your petty arguments would never happen. Learn to realize that you have different tastes then the guy you are arguing with and move on. And before someone calls me a hypocrite, notice that I never go in calling something bad. I always go in to defend something.

Marvel better not bring back Johnny Storm. His death DID matter.
Deaths should matter and NO-ONE should be bought back to life.

This better not be another case of comics standing still and re-embracing the status quo. It's costing the industry readers, and it's boring to read the same stories where nothing changes.

According to interviews, Johnny's death did matter to Hickman, but only really in the sense that it provides a context for the stories Hickman really wants to tell about the Fantastic Four after they're reunited. Basically, Johnny's death was set-up rather than payoff. Hickman knew he was going to bring the character back, and he knew that readers knew that he was going to bring the character back. Whether he's gonna be back from "death" or some other state, I dunno. My guess is that Johnny isn't technically dead.
