Herald I think you should realize by now this era of DC are all made up of ass men. That appears to be the only thing they love seeing people's fanny. Also the used carsalesman is up to his old tricks. teasing of some Steph news at SDCC. Probably the usual, '2012 will be a BIG YEAR for Stephanie Brown!"

Then again, Bryan Q. Miller was teasing about several projects. Nah... DC can't be competent.

Bryan Q Miller did an interview for Barbara Gordon Podcast. Some highlighted bits:

-As expected, the conclusion to the Reapers story arc was rushed due to the book's cancellation. Miller had plans to delve more into the backstory of Clancy (the Grey Ghost) and Detective Gage's connection with the Reapers, leading toward issue 30.

- Proxy is Raph, Steph is Mikey, Cass is Leo, and Babs is Splinter.

-Steph was going to gradually realize that she was treating Clancy the way people used to treat her as Spoiler, and it was having a direct impact on how things were playing out.

-Wendy Harris/Proxy being written out was not BQM's idea. He was told by editorial to write her out by issue 21. Whether that's because editorial didn't like her and wanted her gone, or if there were other plans for her is unclear. I'd be curious to know whether that was before or after the relaunch was finalized; if it was after, it suggests there might be a role for Proxy in the DCnU.


-The final issue will involve, quote, "some waffle-munching on rooftops."

-Speaking of, BQM confirms he was hoping to bring in Cass for a team-up eventually, but felt it needed to be a longer story rather than a one-off, and unfortunately just ran out of time.

-When asked what he had planned for the third year of the book, BQM said he didn't want to talk about it until after issue 24 hits stands. Hmmm...

-When it was mentioned that Steph will supposedly continue to have a presence in the DCnU, Miller said he has no knowledge of when or what that might entail.

-HOWEVER, Miller did confirm that he's doing a project for DC that is not involved with the September relaunch, and he's hoping to be able to talk about it soon. (He also has an OGN coming out for an indie publisher sometime in the next year or so.)

I'm starting to really to think Steph's getting a Spoiler ongoing come well whenever the heck Wave 2 arrives.
