that's one I've still never seen. Not on purpose, I just haven't ever caught it yet.

I'll have to look into that.

One tv episode that always hurts is the Chicago Hope epi where Birch (Peter MacNicol) died. Man, you gotta wipe me up off the floor after that one.

So that's pretty good? I've never seen it? Tim Burton, right?

The Lion King is pretty epic. I'm not much of a Disney fan, but sometimes they do get it right.

It's a very loosely adapted version of Hamlet with singing animals. Take that as you will.

I don't cry. Almost never.

Last time I teared up at all was during the "You were the chosen one" scene of Revenge of the Sith.

That's pretty rare for me. and it's usually a momentary thing. It's unlikely to happen repeatedly for the same movie.

Sounds like you're disconnected from your feelings. You should really see someone about that :P

twoheads wrote:What was the name of that animated movie about the dogs who escape from a lab and have been infected with some kind of virus? It's just on the edge of my memory, but I remember being devastated by it as a kid.

Plague dogs, very very sad movie......

By the same studio, Watership Down, very disturbing.

Of all the movies mentioned on this thread, only Grave of the Fireflies got to me...

But movies that did get to me..... A.I., yeah its sappy, but jesus christ it's just so damn sad...

John Woo,s bullet in the head, and the scenes from Better Tomorrow 2 with Chow Yun Fat trying to bring Dean Shek out of his grief, and leslie chung naming his newborn daughter over the phone while dying.

Brandons betrayal at the hands of his best friend Harry in Gungrave, before the anime goes alll retarded.

The Fisherking

Dancer In the Dark

Rapa Nui

Excalibur

Les Miserables, the musical, not the film

Schindlers List

This Boy's Life

Legends of the Fall

And number 1, It's a wonderful Life gets me every damn time.......

Yeah, the prequels made me cry too.

Other than tears of rage and frustration I well up at The Green Mile and that's about it. Books tend to get me more than movies.

Big Fish - when he carries his dad to the water.

The Rookie - when Dennis Quaid calls his son to tell him he's been called up.

Braveheart - when his wife dies and he goes after the guards for revenge.

Romeo and Juliet - when she wakes up right as he falls asleep.

The Notebook - the end. You know the part.

Finding Neverland - lots of parts...

Schindler's List - when Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley have the last drink.
