Pay whatever you want for your comics, but anything over $4 is too much for me!

Then why complain when a book is reduced to below $4?

Complaining for complaining's sake.

Only by you, mate.
By the way, I have to respect the opinions of anyone seeking to insult me (especially by name-calling). You therefore fail to insult. :P

That's true. Still, there are some titles that are worth it (X-Men: Schism and X-Force, for example). That being said, I don't see how a Bendis Avengers title is worth $4. :smt102

I paid $8 for the Strange Adventures anthology from Vertigo and it was worth it. It probably wouldn't have happened on another week (I only had one other comic to purchase), but I don't regret it.

Link?
(And if I was, then fuck this site and you! I suspect you download the myriad comics you claim to buy anyway !)

I'm not finding a link for you, it was the last time you had a go at me for spending my own money on what I want to spend it on, and I don't download any comics at all. You're such a presumptuous idiot.

And besides, how does me supposedly having too much money factor into this thread? I'm the only one glad to be saving a dollar (or UK equivalent, about 75p) on this comic.

I'm disappointed that you feel that way. I think that attitude will prove the death of comics in the long run. If publishers (especially Marvel) keep increasing prices and only diehards continue to think it's "worth it", then who will be buying these comics?

That's because there isn't one.
Why don't you just put me on ignore rather than calling me "prick" and "idiot"?
As I said, I'd have to respect your opinions in order to be insulted by you.. I don't respect your opinions ( or believe you can afford all the comics you claim to buy).

It depends on my budget and my interest in the comic.

He at least told you to stop it.

And it doesn't matter whether you respect me or not, the fact is that I do buy all the comics I read, apart from the ones we get review copies of for the site, and you are accusing me of theft right now, which is not on.

I don't use the ignore feature, and if you act like an idiot, I'll call you one, it didn't start until you once again insulted me and acted like my dad, telling me what to spend my money on. You're nobody on here's dad, and you're in no position to tell me what to do or accuse me of illegally downloading comics.

In short, just stop being an arse and acting like you're more intelligent than everyone on here.

Yes, but you're speaking as an individual. Doesn't it concern you that the comic industry keeps pushing the prices up without any discernible increase in quality (or even page count)? If prices continue to climb in the manner they have in the last few years, doesn't it concern you that there might not be any comics for your interest or budget?
