http://au.bluray.ign.com/articles/118/1189817p1.htmlSupposedly there's an extended edition. I'm curious to see what that's like. Oh and if you buy the movie on blu you get a code for Sinestro Corps Batman skin for Arkham City.

Has there ever been a story about Batman wearing a yellow lantern ring? So many interesting ideas regarding fear there.

Didn't Sinestro offer him one at the beginning of building his corps?

During this time, the Sinestro Corps attempted to recruit Batman, known even to some alien races for his formidable ability to instill fear in others. However, Batman's willpower combined with his previous brief exposure to a power ring allowed him to reject the yellow ring before it took him to be properly trained and molded into one of Sinestro's soldiers. The yellow ring then sought a replacement and selected Amon Sur, the disgruntled son of Abin Sur, who was on Earth attempting to steal Hal Jordan's ring.[9]
doesn't seem so interesting. off the top of my head, i would have batman actually controlling the ring--like he controls his own fear. but i don't know how those rings work--would need research and stuff.

Pretty sure it did. I remember reading "Bruce Wayne of Earth, you have the ability to instill great fear".
Bats said no, obviously.
Hey, Fahd, speaking of Bats with rings, you should track down Batman: Emerald Knight. Think that was the title. A 90's Elseworlds where Bruce Wayne was chosen by Abin Sur to be his sucessor. I loved it when I first read it!

Yeah, he was able to reject the ring, in part because he had just put on a GL ring a few issues back.

though I could see Batman as a Red Lantern "MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!"
However, Liefeld is an enigma wrapped in a pouch-filled, muscular, footless conundrum.

I still haven't seen this, or X-Men: First Class or Captain America. I've been lax in my movie-going lately.

it's understandable, you've had a lot of other things to hate

I imagine I'll like X-Men and Captain America when I see them, but this one... it doesn't look too good.

I must be in the minority
I really enjoyed it.
Okay there's a lot of exposition and one seriously miscast lead but I have seen rumours the "director's cut" takes out the exposition and puts in more actual story
